Design and Automated Optimization of an Internal Turret Mooring System in the Frequency and Time Domain

To take aim at these challenges, this paper studies application an optimization algorithm to Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO) with internal turret deep-water locations. goal minimize costs satisfying constraints, objective function defined as minimum weight system. Anchor loads, body offset line tensions are constraints. In process optimization, analyzed terms frequency domain time domain, global local algorithms deployed towards reaching optimum solution. Three cases studied same initial conditions. successfully find feasible reducing cost up 52%.
